The shape of our eyebrows is as individual as our laugh or our fingerprint. They are the barometer of our changing moods and emotions and with the right shape can define and transform the upper part of our face. Semi Permanent Make up can accentuate the desirable aspects of our brows or create possibilities which the client could only dream about.
Why have your eyebrows tattooed?
Sparse or thin eyebrows.
Fair eyebrows lacking definition.
Eyebrows broken by blemishes or scars.
Partial or complete alopecia.
Badly shaped or asymmetrical brows.
To accentuate what nature has already bestowed.
There are three methods of tattooing the eye brows:
Hair by hair
The hair by hair effect when carried out by a skilled Semi Permanent Makeup artist can, by means of individual hair strokes, produces astonishingly natural results. The shading effect mimics a cosmetic pencil line.
When undertaken by a skilled practitioner it produces a powdery effect, more natural than that obtainable with a cosmetic pencil. The results give you the eyebrows you always wanted, but thought you could never have. A synthesis of the client’s desires and expectations and Monika’s skill and experience!
Important To Consider
With regard to the choice of colour it is desirable to take into account your natural skin tone and natural hair colour. A third and very important factor is the desire of the client. When these three factors are tempered by the wisdom and advice of the Semi Permanent Makeup artist, the best result is achieved. With regard to shape it is highly important to recognise that virtually no face has perfect symmetry. Another factor to consider is the importance of our facial expressions and the different movements of each eyebrow-“the eyebrows are sisters, not twins”.
Your skin will be temporarily sensitised after the treatment and you should adhere to the following instructions for the next 10 days. This will help avoid infection and allow time for the skin to recover. If you apply make up during the next 5 days following your treatment, you do so entirely at your own risk. You have been advised how to apply safely by covering and protecting the treated area.
Healing can take up to 10 days and it is perfectly normal for small scabbing to appear on the treated area(s). These should be allowed to fall off naturally over a period of a few days. After the treatment; It is also normal for there to be fading of the colour during the first 2 weeks and patchy sections, as the skin is still healing and the pigment will return to the surface after 2/3 weeks.
If you do not adhere to your aftercare instructions and there is a lack of pigment retention you will be charged for additional treatments at €75 per retouch in the first 36 months of your initial treatment.
Should infection occur…
Seek immediate medical attention!
